An exact replica of a very unusual elephant introduced by Steiff in 1909, this red pachyderm is 7 inches tall, is made from distinctive red mohair, and has excelsior stuffing (fine wood shavings, even in the tusks!), custom hand-mounted glass bead eyes, and a gold-plated Button in Ear.

This Steiff animal is hand made in Germany and carries the signature "Button in Ear" trademark and chest tag. Small parts; not suitable for children under 3.
